LONG TERM PLAYER DEVELOPMENT (LTPD)

The CSA and the OSA have made a commitment to make the game more fun
than ever before for the recreational player and to provide better
development opportunities than ever before for those with aspirations
for a future in the sport. As the introduction and implementation of
Long-Term Player Development (LTPD) becomes a reality across Ontario,

OSA Goalkeeper Diploma Course |
This 3-day course provides the knowledge to educate young players in the fundamentals of Goalkeeping. You will be expected to participate in the on-field sessions AND present an on-field session. |
OSA Pre-B Assessment Course |
This 4-day course is designed for those coaches who are preparing to take their Provincial 'B' Licence Course. Planning, presentation and participation are expected. |
CSA Provincial 'B' Licence Course |
This 5 day residency course is part 1 of the CSA National Coaching Licencing Program and is the first of three coaching "LICENCES" available in the CSA program and is required prior to challenging the National B Licence Course. The course is offered 2 or 3 times a year. MUST have successfully completed your Pre-B Assessment 12 months prior, have a Letter of Recommendation from the Club Head Coach, be able to participate in all sessions. Assessments consist of pre-course laws of the game and 3 on-field assessments. |
